Sit Heng Yeen
Sit Heng Yeen is the founding director of Fuze Architecture, bringing a distinctive blend of architectural precision and environmental innovation to every project. A graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London (AA School), with prior degrees from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and RMIT University, Heng Yeen's practice is defined by a commitment to sustainable design and systems-based thinking.
Beyond traditional architectural practice, Heng Yeen is recognised as an inventor and pioneer in sustainable water management. As the Co-founder and Technical Director of Green Master Harvest Sdn Bhd, he developed Voda — the world's first wall-mounted rainwater harvesting system, also Malaysia's first patented (Patent No. MY-178044-A) and zero-carbon. The system has been implemented across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
His architectural philosophy integrates sustainability at every level — from concept to engineering detail. Heng Yeen has led projects ranging from heritage conservation in Penang to large-scale township master planning in Perak, always with an emphasis on resource efficiency and environmental responsibility. His work in non-revenue water (NRW) reduction and flood mitigation further exemplifies his holistic approach to architecture as a means of addressing pressing urban challenges.
A sought-after speaker and educator, Heng Yeen has presented at institutions including Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and the FMM Water Conference 2017, sharing insights on sustainable water resource management and innovative building systems. His leadership extends to community initiatives, with Voda installations donated to schools and NGOs across Malaysia.
At Fuze Architecture, Heng Yeen leads projects with the analytical rigor of an engineer and the vision of an architect committed to creating built environments that are not only functional and beautiful, but fundamentally sustainable and forward-thinking.
